Nintendo confirms Wii Zapper release date, packaged Zelda title

Accessory package will indeed include Link's Crossbow Training

Nintendo has confirmed the recent rumor that the Wii Zapper would come with a Zelda game.

The game, Link's Crossbow Training will be packaged with the Zapper when it's released on November 19, 2007. The package will retail for $19.99 U.S.

The name "Zapper" takes us back to the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System, which had a light-gun peripheral, the NES Zapper. Several companies are planning to support the Wii Zapper in upcoming games, including EA, Capcom and Sega.
