3DO

Release: October 1993

The 3DO company designed a system with a double-speed CD-ROM drive, a 32-bit processor and an advanced graphics chip. They didn't produce the system themselves. Instead, rights were sold to various parties including Panasonic, Goldstar, Sanyo, Samsung, AT&T and Creative Labs. The 3DO company received royalties for every system and game sold.
